Polypropylene suture is a sterile, synthetic, monofilament non-absorbable surgical suture used in dental surgery for soft tissue approximation and ligation requiring long-term wound support. Made from a synthetic polyolefin (polypropylene), it provides exceptional biological inertness, very low tissue reactivity and long-lasting mechanical stability.

It is particularly indicated in oral, periodontal and implant surgical procedures, as well as in aesthetic suturing where minimal tissue reaction and long-term stability are required.
