Electric pulp test with constant current source to determine the vitality of the root pulp.
More effective than a thermal pulp test whose stimuli only reach the coronal pulp.

• The closer the tip is to the apical foramen, the faster the sound is.
• When the tip reaches the apical stop, the machine emits continuous high frequency beeps.
